Dear patients and friends,
Greetings and we hope this finds you and your family in good health. In accordance with Gov. Walz, the MN Board of Dentistry and the American Dental Association, we are now able to render elective care to our patients, based on the judgement of health care professionals.
Our office will reopen for regular care May 18, however we will operate on an adjusted schedule as we have implemented new measures to keep our patients and staff safe and healthy at our practice. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are always up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
- Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office, and you’ll have your temperature taken.
- We will ask you to wear a mask when you come into the office.
- Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, newspapers, or toys as those items are difficult to disinfect.
- We’ll ask you to refrain from bringing any accompanying individuals to your appointment, unless absolutely necessary.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
- We’ll do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
